Honeymoon Location.

Today we booked our honeymoon. We are flying out from Nashville on Sunday, August 28th and returning Monday, September 5th. We are going to Honolulu, Hawaii to stay at a hotel I stayed when I was a kid and my dad worked on location there, so I know firsthand the hotel and location is absolutely gorgeous. I can hardly wait. :)

Gift Registry.

We are registered at two different store locations. One is for everyone to use and there is another that is solely for Texas guests if they choose to do so, since the store is only located in Southlake, TX.

Gift cards are much appreciated as a substitute to things on the actual registry list since it is a destination wedding, and though we are moving there right after the wedding, there is the off-chance we may not have an apartment secured and set up for us to live in just yet.

Groom Attire.

Charles's attire is going to be exactly like the guy pictured below, except his tie is going to be yellow, like the photo beneath this one. He will also be wearing TOMS, except his will be the lace-up ash gray cordones.

Groomsmen Attire.

For our groomsmen, we've decided to put them in gray pants, black suspenders, white button-up shirts and black TOMS.

Bridesmaid Gifts/Tags.

The other day I went shopping for my bridesmaid gifts and I also made tags to attach to each gift. Here is a glimpse at the gifts I've pulled together so far and the tags I've made to attach to each. :)

A Cage for Lovebirds.

While browsing www.etsy.com I came across this fantastic shabby chic vintage birdcage and the price for it was an absolute steal! I'm still debating what I am going to do with this cage as of yet but it will make for a lovely decoration.

Time Locket.

While browsing www.etsy.com today, I came across a DARLING locket that I am going to wear on my wedding day. The clock doesn't really work, but it will incorporate perfectly with the clock faces I am going to have customized into my shoes my friend Mikaela is making for me. The beads on this necklace match the headpiece I have perfectly, and there are birds on it as well. It's completely perfect. :) Best of all, I can put a picture of me and a picture of Charles inside which will make for a fun picture on the wedding day. :)

Engagement Shoot/NarrowGate Property Sneak Peek

This weekend we had our engagement shoot with Erin Melissa! It was SO much fun despite the 37* weather we had to deal with. But it was totally worth it and I cannot wait to see the photos! (They will be posted on here in about 3 weeks! Keep a look out!) To hold you all over until then I have a few sneak peek photos of props as well as one piece of a location spot. :) I also have a photo at the bottom of the exact tree where Charles and I will be saying our "I do's."
